Meet the Animal Health Technologists

Animal Health Technologists have a broad knowledge of animal science, medicine, and husbandry, including a basic knowledge of pharmacology. Ability to restrain animals, complete clinical laboratory tests, use multiple radiology techniques, administer and monitor animals under anesthesia, assist in surgery, and perform dental procedures. Technicians must also deliver compassionate nursing care.

Meet the Pet Care Specialists & Support Staff

Pet Care Specialist (Back Support ) have the primary responsibility for greeting clients; admitting pets to the hospital; and feeding, handling, and cleaning of boarding pets. They have responsibilities to assist with the care of hospitalized animals. In addition, Pet Care Specialist – Back Support, handle food and supplies inventories, organize and assist with facility maintenance, and, provide direct nursing care for pets.

Pet Care Specialist (Front Support) is the customer-relations experts in a veterinary practice. These staff members are responsible for greeting clients; differentiating routine cases from emergency cases; scheduling appointments; entering client, patient, and financial data into the computer; generating invoices processing payments and managing the retrieval and storage of medical records.
